‘Save Utah Bars’ movement wants to change law to allow alcohol to-go

Struggling restaurant and bar owners looking for a way to make more money during the pandemic are pleading for permission from the state government to sell sealed-up alcohol to-go.

For that to happen in Utah, the law would need to be changed.

The Independent Restaurant Coalition predicts that without federal intervention, 85% of independent restaurants and bars could close because of the pandemic.
