(KUTV) — The Jordan School District alerted parents Thursday that 19 students and 1 employee have active COVID-19.
The district additionally stated that 506 students or employees have been asked to quarantine as a result of being in close contact with an infected individual.
Because of the actives COVID-19 cases in the district, the Jordan Board of Education has authorized the quarantine of four classes but the district didn’t specify what the classes are and at what schools the classes are conducted.
However, the district of 56,000 students and 6,000 employees did say that there are more than 10,000 different classes within the district.
